Sports secondary school and high school GIMBASKET are a place in which students are able to develop their sport interests in a special way.

Due to the general programme of teaching in both secondary and high schools, students combine effective education with sport. Intimate atmosphere, integration among students and teachers guarantee safety and individual development of intellectual and sports skills.
The interdisciplinary character of GIMBASKET schools gives the opportunity of educating students practising different sports disciplines as well as those who are generally interested in sport. The young people participate not only in the school life in a very active way, but also in life of their town and region, by committing themselves to charity and social actions.

“GIMBASKET” institutions cooperate also with sports clubs, giving the active players in school age the opportunity to combine education with professional sport practising. Schools programme is focused on flexible realization of educational programme, with special consideration to student absence because of e.g. to sports events, grouping, consultations, etc.

Cooperation with universities in Wrocław– Physical Education Academy and Higher School of Banking, in connection with experienced teaching and coaching staff of GIMBASKET schools, gives high educational results. Among GIMBASKET students there are also Education Ministry and Sport Ministry scholars.

Sport and education

GIMBASKET schools treat sport and education equally. The institutions create the best conditions for effective combining education and sport, by e.g. adding sports classes into school network (thanks to that pupils gain more time for learning and developing their interests which are not connected with sport) and, what is most important, by ensuring systematic education and realization of both school programmes on a high level.
Each GIMBASKET student is obliged to systematic learning and fast catching up with the material, which is a result of absence from school classes (e.g. caused by going to sport competitions, groupings, consultations, etc). The young people may count on help and individual attitude of well educated teachers and coaching staff, who skillfully develop intellectual and sports interests of their pupils.

Dormitory

Students living outside Wroclaw have the opportunity of living in an dormitory, placed near GIMBASKET schools.
A place in the dormitory has to be paid for.
